Dynamometer Repair and Remanufacturing

For repair of a failed or damaged dynamometer we offer our DynoRepair service.

The DynoRepair service covers repair of a dynamometer which has failed or has been damaged and is designed to minimise your downtime and get the dynamometer back into service as quickly as possible.

The DynoRepair service comprises dismantling of the dynamometer (if required), inspection of the failed or damaged components and a report issued on the condition of the components. The customer is advised of what parts need to be replaced or reclaimed and the costs. In all cases the shaft bearings and all seals are replaced, for a hydraulic dynamometer the outlet valve bearings and seals are also replaced. The machine is then rebuilt and spin tested to the customer advised maximum speed + 10% overspeed.

Collection of the dynamometer from your site can be arranged if required.

The DynoHaul service covers overhaul of a dynamometer that is in basically sound condition and requires remanufacturing to restore the dynamometer to an as new condition.

The DynoHaul service comprises dismantling of the dynamometer, inspection of all parts and a report issued on the condition of the components. The customer is advised of what parts need to be replaced or reclaimed and the costs. In all cases the shaft bearings and all seals are replaced, for a hydraulic dynamometer the outlet valve bearings and seals are also replaced. The machine is then rebuilt, dynamically balanced, calibrated, repainted and fully tested to Froude Hofmann quality assurance procedures.
